While she is a sought-after speaker and teacher for women’s events, Julie is also an accomplished ventriloquist whose beloved characters, “BC” and “Miss Mildred,” bring laughter and memorable lessons to every gathering. Whether through her engaging speaking style or her unique ventriloquism ministry, Julie creates meaningful experiences that leave audiences encouraged, challenged, and inspired.

Julie’s passion for ministry grew from her deep love for people and her desire to encourage others in their faith journey. In 1996, she joined the staff of One More Child (formerly Florida Baptist Children’s Homes), where she faithfully served in leadership roles for 20 years. This ministry became close to her heart, and she remains a dedicated advocate for foster care, adoption, feeding programs, and international missions, having served extensively in both national and global ministry efforts.

Helping others grow and thrive spiritually remains one of Julie’s greatest joys. In 2017, she joined the staff of Samford University, where she serves as Director of Parent and Family Programs. She is passionate about encouraging, supporting, and walking alongside parents as they navigate the college years with their students.
